How can you guarantee the site is safe to re-enter?

It’s one thing to finally have your asbestos professionally removed, but how can you guarantee there are no dangerous fibres left behind?

Asbestosis and mesothelioma are incredibly scary diseases caused by exposure to asbestos fibres which can be fatal. The last thing you need are fibres left from a job to put the health and safety of your loved ones at risk.

As per WorkSafe WA guidelines, a site must not be re-entered until a qualified, Class B Independent Asbestos Assessor has visually inspected the site and provided a Clearance Certificate with supporting evidence there is no asbestos prevalent at all.

Important things to note for reassurance:

  • Your Independent Assessor must hold the relevant qualifications and certifications to perform the job.

  • Your Assessor must hold the correct insurances to ensure the advice they are providing is legal and legitimate.

  • Your Assessor works for YOU (the client) and is committed to honouring your health, safety and wellbeing.

We understand that North West Asbestos Solutions operates in regional and remote areas where it is hard to find qualified personnel for certain jobs, which is why we have trustworthy contacts we can recommend for this purpose.

Remember, it is completely up to you as the client who you choose to use as your Independent Assessor, however we will always try and make the process easier by providing a recommendation.

The final Clearance Certificate document will be provided to you so you can rest assured the site is completely clear of asbestos following the removal.
