Asbestos Clearance Certificate

Did you know after all asbestos removal work completed by a licensed professional, a Clearance Certificate is required by a qualified independent assessor?

Under the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022, clearance inspections must be conducted for all licensed asbestos removal work and a written clearance certificate must be issued before the area can be reoccupied or returned to normal use.

If the worksite requires other contractors following the asbestos removal, it is beneficial if the site is cleared sooner rather than later so projects can stay within the allocated timeframe.
