Port Hedland Spoilbank Marina Project

North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions provided licensed asbestos supervision during earthworks associated with the Spoilbank Marina redevelopment in Port Hedland.

Engaged on a standby basis, our licensed asbestos technician attended site over a two-day period to monitor excavation activities and manage any unexpected asbestos-containing materials (ACM) encountered during ground disturbance works.

Where ACM was identified, materials were safely isolated, removed, and disposed of in accordance with applicable legislation and codes of practice. Works were carried out in real time alongside civil crews, ensuring minimal disruption to the project while maintaining strict safety and environmental controls.

This project highlights our ability to provide rapid-response asbestos supervision and removal services within live civil construction environments, supporting major infrastructure projects across regional Western Australia.
