Horizon Power Demolition, Cape Leveque

North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions was engaged to undertake the demolition and site clearance of a 4m x 7m steel shed, including the removal of associated debris, in Broome.

The scope included the safe removal and disposal of fire-damaged materials, including lead-acid battery components and a decommissioned 5,000-litre water tank. All works were carried out in a controlled manner to manage potential hazards associated with contaminated and burnt materials.

The existing concrete slab was retained as part of the client’s requirements, with demolition works carefully executed to preserve the structure. Upon completion, the site was cleared, levelled, and left in a clean and presentable condition.

All waste materials were transported and disposed of at the Shire of Broome waste management facility in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.

This project demonstrates our ability to deliver safe, efficient demolition and site remediation works, including the management of hazardous and fire-affected materials.
