Dampier Salt Demolitions

North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions was engaged to undertake the demolition of three stockpile workshop structures at the Dampier Salt operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The scope involved the controlled demolition of steel-framed workshop buildings, including removal of structural components, cladding, and associated infrastructure. Works were carefully planned and executed within an active industrial environment to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Demolition was carried out using mechanical methods, with materials segregated for disposal or recycling where applicable. Strict dust suppression and environmental controls were implemented throughout the works, particularly given the exposed coastal and high-wind conditions of the site.

All demolition waste was removed from site and disposed of at approved facilities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This project demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale demolition works within live industrial and remote environments, with a strong focus on safety, environmental management, and operational coordination.
