BHP House Refurbishments, Newman

North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions has been engaged to deliver asbestos removal works as part of a large-scale housing refurbishment program for BHP in regional Western Australia.

Our scope involves the safe identification and removal of non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM) across multiple residential properties, including wall linings, ceilings, eaves, and associated building elements.

Operating within active residential environments and remote locations, our team implements strict control measures including:

• Full site isolation and controlled work zones
• Use of H-class vacuum systems and wet removal techniques
• Decontamination processes and waste containment

All asbestos waste is securely packaged, transported, and disposed of at licensed facilities in compliance with WA regulatory requirements.

This project demonstrates our capability to deliver compliant, high-volume asbestos removal programs in remote and logistically challenging environments, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
