Asbestos Removal, Asbestos Testing, Asbestos Register
Initial works involved asbestos inspection and sampling across the facility, with laboratory analysis confirming the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) within ceiling panels in multiple rooms. All samples were analysed by a NATA-accredited laboratory.
Following confirmation, NWADS prepared a compliant Asbestos Register, documenting the location, type, and condition of identified ACM, along with risk ratings and recommended control measures.
Asbestos Removal Works
North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions was subsequently engaged to undertake the removal of ACM ceiling panels from five rooms within the rear daycare building.
Works were carefully planned and executed within an operational childcare environment, requiring strict controls to ensure the safety of staff, children, and visitors. Removal was undertaken using controlled methods in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos, with appropriate containment, decontamination, and waste handling procedures in place.
All asbestos materials were securely packaged, labelled, transported, and disposed of at a licensed waste facility in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Outcome
This project demonstrates North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions ability to deliver complete asbestos management solutions within sensitive environments, from identification and documentation through to safe and compliant removal.
