Asbestos Registers for Commercial Properties – Newman, Port Hedland & Broome

North West Asbestos & Demolition Solutions is regularly engaged to conduct asbestos inspections and testing across commercial properties and workplaces, supporting the development and maintenance of compliant Asbestos Registers.

In accordance with WA legislation, buildings constructed prior to 2003 are required to have an Asbestos Register if used for commercial purposes, due to the potential presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACM).

An Asbestos Register is a critical safety document that identifies the location, condition, and type of any confirmed or presumed ACM within a building. It provides essential information to building occupants, contractors, and maintenance personnel, ensuring asbestos risks are effectively managed and controlled.

Our process involves systematic site inspections and targeted sampling in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos. All samples are submitted to a NATA-accredited laboratory for analysis, with results compiled into a detailed Asbestos Register.

Each register includes:

• Confirmed or presumed ACM locations
• Material condition assessments
• Laboratory results and asbestos type
• Recommendations for management or removal
