At the time, it was believed to be an excellent and hardwearing material… fast forward and the dangers of asbestos were discovered.

Asbestos building materials ceased to be used in construction from the late 1980’s, however homes built from the 1930’s onwards have a chance of containing asbestos.

There are some wonderful properties that pop up for sale in the North West, but there is no way of knowing what it might cost you to remove the asbestos within the building.
